Priority Business Client Program

In 1971,  John McGeehan was a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Interior and saw that often the opposing attorney was knowledgeable in the subject of the case, but not in trial practice or the attorney was knowledgeable in trial practice, but not the subject matter. He saw a need for attorneys who knew the subject matter and the trial practice and who understood the object is not just to win a case, but to have a case handled in accordance with the overall business needs. Last, not every legal issue goes to trial, but transactional attorneys must know how disagreements will be seen and treated in a trial and then develop effective business strategies to avoid costly and risky litigation.

McGeehan & Associates, PLC combines those experiences through counseling, planning,  documentation, risk management and, if necessary, a litigation strategy that is consistent with overall business strategy.  We learn what our clients do and how they do it.  We offer effective business structures that do what the client intended.  We manage the legal requirements to keep a business’s legals affairs in compliance with the law.

In 2001, McGeehan & Associates, PLC established a single cost to start a corporation or limited liability company.  Its system was designed to guarantee that the legal services of an attorney in organizing a company to ensure the process is correct and thorough and that the cost is known in advance.  A single cost also permits us to take time to know the clients’ needs, build the company right and get it off on the right foot.

Second, in 2001, established a Priority Business Client Program℠ to assure its clients that knowledgeable legal services will be there as the business develops.  We saw that businesses make costly legal mistakes, because (1) they could not quickly find competent legal advice, (20 they could not find a lawyer who understood their overall needs or (3) they were afraid the legal bills. The Priority Business Client Program℠ addresses those fears. There is a single annual fee, which is waived in the year of organization for new businesses.  It makes available to client’s experienced lawyers, registered agent services, no charge Quick Calls℠ for simple question to avoid problems while they may be small and reduced hourly legal fees and other discounts or no charge benefits.  Our trained legal assistants respond quickly to many clients’  needs, with minimum attorney supervision and delay, to keep corporations and LLCs in compliance with state laws. We cannot promise that clients in this program will never have a legal problem, but our firm knows that companies that use the Priority Business Client Program℠ are well run, have few legal problems and less costs.

This is a preventative program for corporations and limited liability companies.  It is not suited to sole proprietors, most partnerships, single business matters  and individuals, but if your business would like to learn more on the Priority Business Client Program, please Contact us.
